Resignation of GOFAST CEO Domenic Lanz
Domenic Lanz will step down from his role as CEO of GOFAST Ltd at the end of April 2025 at his own request. Under his leadership, the company has grown over the past nine years from a small startup into Switzerland’s leading fast-charging provider, with over 30 employees and nearly 100 locations. Starting in March, Lanz will hand over the leadership of GOFAST to Stephanie Sauter.
Successful Growth Over Nine Years
The Board of Directors of GOFAST Ltd announced last week the resignation of its long-standing CEO, Domenic Lanz. His resignation is at his own request. Lanz took over the leadership of the company nine years ago, shortly after its founding, at a time when e-mobility and fast charging were still relatively uncommon. "At the beginning, the endeavor required a certain idealism and a strong pioneering spirit. But it was precisely this kind of challenge that got me excited back then," confirms Domenic Lanz. Today, he is very proud of the company’s evolution from a small startup into Switzerland’s leading fast-charging network operator, with over 30 employees and nearly 100 charging locations. At the same time, Lanz adds, after this phase of growth, a new chapter in the company’s development has begun—one that he is eager to entrust to new leadership.
Under Lanz’s management, GOFAST has successfully expanded to become the densest fast-charging network in Switzerland. Key milestones include winning the FEDRO tender for building fast-charging stations at motorway service areas and establishing national partnerships with McDonald’s Switzerland and Aldi Suisse.
Deputy Managing Director Steps Into the Role
As of March 1, Deputy Managing Director Stephanie Sauter has taken on the role of interim CEO. With Sauter, who has been part of the GOFAST team for over seven years, the smooth continuation of the current strategy and corporate culture is ensured. |

Board of Directors Remains Committed to Strong Growth
The GOFAST Board of Directors regrets Lanz’s decision. "We are very grateful to Domenic for his outstanding contribution to the development of GOFAST as Switzerland’s leading CPO," says Chairman of the Board, Reto Baschera. Nevertheless, he is confident that GOFAST, under its new leadership, will remain true to its commitment as a leading fast-charging network operator and will be well-positioned for its next phase of growth.
