Powertage 2018 is just around the corner and Messe Zurich is under high voltage (www.powertage.ch). From June 5-7, the industry fair of the electricity industry is taking place once more in Zurich, giving exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to network and to discuss trends and forecasts. Beside the forum, there are more than 170 exhibitors showcasing their innovative products and services for a sustainable energy future. And GOFAST is there, too!

As the electric mobility professionals, together with our partners Protoscar (www.protoscar.com) and EVTEC (www.evtec.ch), we are happy to share our views and solutions for the challenges and opportunities the mobility sector faces. Zurich is being electrified – fast charge for free at GOFAST locations in Zurich during the Formula E weekend£
On Sunday, June 10th 2018, the Formula E race is taking place for the very first time in Switzerland, with electric supercars racing through Zurich’s old town (www.zuricheprix.ch). Leading up to the racing actions, there will be different side events, called eDays (www.edays.ch). All over town, visitor can learn and participate in events focused on sustainable mobility and technological novelties. This certainly promises to be an exciting weekend for everyone.
And GOFAST is helping to electrify Zurich as well. During the Formula E weekend, all our fast chargers in the canton of Zurich – GOFAST Zurich-Wettswil (1), GOFAST Zurich-Altstetten (2) and GOFAST Forrenberg Nord (3) – can be used free of charge! As expected from GOFAST, the locations feature fast charging with all plugs, including a DC Type 2 connector in Wettswil and Altstetten, allowing also Tesla drivers to charge their car quickly. Why not give it a try?
GOFAST today and tomorrow – new locations all over Switzerland
During the last months, we opened new fast charging location in Zürich-Wettswil, on the rest areas Bellinzona Nord & Sud and in Rossens (FR). These locations are complementing our existing network and are offering interesting things to do while the car charges, being it the possibility to play some golf, experience the brand-new rest area in Ticino, or have a break at a convenient fast charge spot when travelling between Fribourg and Vevey.
And just in time for the Formula E weekend, we are going to open our already 14th location, in Zurich-Altstetten. Working together with SOCAR, we are going to open our most urban fast charging location, thus also giving people access to electric mobility should they not have the possibility to charge at home or work.
Furthermore, we are in the process to plan, permit and build many more locations, such as at the service area Deitingen Süd. Or two locations in Bern, the Swiss capital, together with the local partner EWB. We are consistently expanding our footprint also in the eastern and western part of Switzerland. For a true national fast charging network.

After opening our Gunzgen Süd location which includes different novelties, such as free client WiFi, DC Type 2 plugs and emails with promotional offers of local businesses for our charging clients, we asked for your feedback.
