Newsletter #2
The first two months of GOFAST

The first GOFAST charging station was installed on the A2 motorway at the service area “Stalvedro” two months ago. The initial experience is very positive: The EVTEC charging station works reliably and we are very happy with the collaboration with swisscharge.ch as our payment and backend partner. On average more than one client a day has been using the Stalvedro station, charging his car for around 23 minutes. In addition to the expected electric vehicles such as the Kia Soul EV, Nissan Leaf, Renault ZOE, BMW i3, VW e-Golf, also car owners like the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV or Tesla Model S and X are using our charging station. Although, Tesla drivers can charge for free at the Superchargers. Furthermore, 35% of charging occurred through CHAdeMO, 31% through CCS-Combo and the remaining 34% through the AC connector.
The first GOFAST location in the German speaking part of Switzerland is approved and is under construction
Before Christmas the first GOFAST location north of the Alps will be installed in Aarau. In the meantime, the evaluation of additional sites is ongoing. More details will follow in the next newsletter.
It is important to us to make charging as easy as possibleThat is one of the reasons why we, or swisscharge.ch respectively, participate actively in roaming platforms such as Hubject. Unfortunately, besides being technically connected to Hubject, the individual roaming parties also need to bilaterally agree on pricing terms. swisscharge.ch is open and interested to work with as many mobility providers as possible, nationally and internationally. As a result, roaming works with the following mobility providers: ElectroDrive Salzburg, Enio, Vorarlberger Kraftwerke, Swisscom Managed Mobility, Energie Service Biel/Bienne, Ebee Smart Technologies, T-Systems International, GIC, Allego, VIRTA, Fortum Charge & Drive, eRoaming platform, Plugsurfing, TheNewMotion, Heldele, Bosch Software Innovations, CleanCharge, has.to.be, Belectric Drive, EnBW, RWE, Wien Energie und ROUTE220. Is your mobility provider missing? Please contact them directly to enable roaming with swisscharge.ch!
