Drive Experience Days
Attention readers! GOFAST has a few events in the pipeline. Here they are, together with the programme and the email address for registration: https://www.gofast.swiss/en/events

He's only just joined GOFAST and he's already famous!
We first met Toma at a car show in Geneva. He asked us one complicated question after another. Eventually, we started to get suspicious. How did he know so much and in such detail? Could he be a spy? Toma turned round and told us who he worked for: himself. Before he joined GOFAST, his identity remained under wraps. But then an article was published about him in newspapers 24 heures and Tribune de Genève. Now he’s GOFAST’s Business Development Manager for French-speaking Switzerland.
Toma hails from Geneva in western Switzerland. He studied electrical engineering at EPFL and holds a Master’s degree in electrical engineering and electronics. After completing his studies, he conducted research, on both a national and international level, on the application of technology in retinal implants and the mobility of alpine skiers. His fascination with and knowledge of electric cars and energy motivated him to give GOFAST a home in western Switzerland. Toma is delighted to be our Business Development Manager for French-speaking Switzerland and to have joined GOFAST, ‘a dynamic brand with a strong character’. With his help, GOFAST’s success will spread to western Switzerland in no time.
A man with electricity in his blood
Whenever Davide sees a contract lying on his desk, he knows that there’s work to be done. It’s his job to design the plans for GOFAST charging stations. Davide studies the location of future charging stations, draws up a first draft and then plans the power box. The need for permits and consultations with municipal authorities don’t break the electric circuit in his head. He works quickly and efficiently. After all, cars, charging technology and project management are what Davide’s electric heart beats for. As soon as he hears about a new electric mobility technology, his mind goes straight to sustainability, which is another key motivator for him. His main goal: to get construction projects off the ground as soon as possible.
Davide spent years planning and implementing energy supply projects in various engineering firms. Two years ago, he completed his studies in business processes and project management at ABB’s Technikerschule. As a project manager at GOFAST, Davide draws on years of experience in developing and coordinating construction projects for a range of clients. Davide loves working right at the heart of mobility issues and helping to shape the mobility of the future.

A look back at GIMS
These four letters, GIMS, stand for the Geneva International Motor Show. This year, we were there once again with our stand, which bustled with thousands of curious visitors. It was pretty impressive and kept us very busy, but we didn’t forget GOFAST’s flair for fun. We have prepared a little summary of the event for you, to make sure you don’t miss out on anything:

Tesla - number one in Switzerland
When the first 227 Tesla Model 3 was delivered to Switzerland in February 2019, nobody could have guessed that Tesla would become Switzerland’s best-selling car – not electric car – within a month, with 1,094 new registrations. With these sales figures, the supposedly ‘niche’ car left the Skoda Octavia (801) and VW Golf (546) far behind. In April, the trend slowed to 492 new registrations. In May 2019, the Californian car manufacturer came in seventh place with 195 new registrations. Thanks to these sales figures, Tesla has grown by 204.7% compared with the same time last year. The Model 3 also allowed Tesla to register 1,371 new vehicles in Switzerland after just three months. That’s more new registrations than in all of 2018! Tesla’s market share also increased accordingly, from 0.4% in 2018 to 1.8% in May 2019. GOFAST remains at the edge of its seat.
And the Tesla Model 3 charges at 145 kW:

Tesla competition: photo highlights
In March 2019, we launched our competition for brand-new Tesla Model 3 owners. It closed at the end of May 2019. In that time, we were flooded with photos. Here are a few highlights:

By the way, we have launched another new competition. This time, it’s for anyone who has recently become the proud owner of an electric car. This competition will run until August 2019. We can’t wait for you to send in your photos. We’re wondering which car brands we’ll see...: https://www.gofast.swiss/en/starterkit
